What are Factions?

A Faction is a group of players, like a team or a club. A faction can claim territory, work together to build a base, and build (or destroy) relationships with other factions.

Minecraft Factions, players can join or create factions—organized groups that work together to claim territory, gather resources, and battle rival groups. Each faction controls specific chunks of land, which can be protected from outsiders depending on their power level, a value determined by the number and strength of members, as well as their activity. The core gameplay revolves around building and defending heavily fortified bases, often hidden or protected with traps, obsidian walls, and redstone mechanisms. Factions compete by raiding enemy bases to steal valuable loot, destroy defences, and weaken their rivals. Raiding typically involves using TNT cannons, creeper eggs, and other creative strategies to breach fortifications. Factions can form diplomatic relationships with one another, including truces for mutual benefit, neutrality to avoid unnecessary conflict, or open war to challenge dominance. These relationships affect PvP rules and cooperation between groups.

Basic Faction Commands

/f create <faction name> : Creates a new faction with your chosen name.
/f join <faction name> : Joins an existing faction.
/f leave : Leaves your current faction.
/f list : Lists all factions on the server.
/f home : Takes you to your faction’s home location.
/f map : Displays a map of the server’s territory.
/f status : Shows the factions member list, power and online status.

Territory and Claiming

/f claim : Claims the chunk you are standing in.
/f unclaim : Unclaims the chunk you are standing in.
/f territory : Views your factions claimed territory.

Faction Management

/f invite <Player> : Invites a player to your faction.
/f ban <Player> : Bans a player from your faction.
/f kick <Player> : Kicks a player from your faction.
/f promote <Player> : Promotes a player to a higher role within the faction.
/f demote <Player> : Demotes a player to a lower role within the faction.

Other Commands

/f ally <faction name> : Creates an alliance with another faction.
/f truce <faction name> : Creates a truce with another faction.
/f peaceful <faction name> : Sets a faction to peaceful mode, preventing them from attacking other factions.
/f power <player> : Checks the power level of a player.
/f permanent <faction name> : Sets a faction to permanent status, preventing it from being automatically dissolved if all members leave.
/f setwarp <warp name> : Sets a faction warp point.
/f warp <warp name> : Teleports you to a faction warp point.
/f chat : Controls the faction chat channel.

A: Gems are dropped from mobs or you can buy some from the JellyMine store.

A: You can obtain them by playing, levelling up and voting, or purchasing them from the JellyMine store.

Q: What is power in Factions?
A: Power determines how much land a faction can claim. Each player contributes power (usually max 10) Dying decreases power, and inactive players lose power over time.

Q: How do I claim land?
A: Use: /claim - this claims the chunk (16x16 block area) you're standing on, if your faction has enough power.

Q: What happens if our power drops below our land claim?
A: Your faction becomes overclaimable—other factions can take over your land.

Q: How do I raid another faction?
A: You can raid factions when they’re overclaimable or by physically breaking into their base (e.g., with TNT cannons)..

Q: Is there an economy in Factions?
A: Most Factions servers have a shop or economy plugin. You can earn money by farming, mining, selling items, or completing tasks.

What is Skyblock?

Skyblock is a popular gamemode where players start on a small, floating island and must expand their world using limited resources. It's a survival-based experience focused on resource gathering, crafting, and building, with a unique challenge of starting from scratch with limited materials.

How to Play?
